CAPABILITIES:

Property/Inventory Manager for a Medium Size Company to large size corporation or facility.
Supervise a team of property management and logistics personnel that manages property and equipment for a medium to large size company or facility.
Purchasing Agent for a small to medium company.
Senior Buyer as part of a Corporate Purchasing Team.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

As a Senior Asset Manager for the United States Army I managed over $65,000,000.00 of U.S. Army equipment for seven units and six facilities. The equipment and property where located in five states and seven storage facilities.

Planned for and supervised the conduct of annual and special inventories of all equipment to maintain 100% accountability.
As the senior logistical specialist for an organization that had units and personnel in five states and six facilities I supervised over 19 logistical, supply and maintenance personnel.

Planned for the transportation and logistical support for seven units authorized over 700 soldiers. I planned for sustained logistical support for the units during deployments, redeployments to and from six states and two overseas locations, annually.

Planned for annual and sustained logistical, supply and maintenance support for all units in support of training activities. I coordinated the logistical support with numerous organizations and agencies. Assisted with the planning for and the mobilization of four units for three differed deployments to overseas locations. I was the lead logistical specialist that insured that the units where and equipment where ready for deployment.

I conducted annual equipment authorizations reviews and requisitioned new equipment as the authorizations became available.

I reviewed the requisitioning and or purchase of equipment and materials needed in support of unit operations and training. Reviewed special supply and material requirements in support of special missions. Coordinated the purchase of Commercial of the Shelf Equipment and Materials in support of special requirements and missions.

As a Command Security Manager I planned for and supervised personnel and information security for a division size command with units located in 13 States with over 7,000 soldiers and 15 facilities.

During mobilization and deployment I managed the Command Personnel Security Programs. I reviewed candidates for special clearances during and issued recommendations to the issuing authority on eligibility for issuing the clearances.

As the Commander of a 38 Soldier Engineer Unit I was responsible for all phases of unit operations to include training, discipline, retention and accountability.

Senior Buyer for General Binding Corporation. Primary area of responsibility was packaging, castings, fasteners, office supplies and equipment and repair operations and maintenance. Buyer for Orval Kent Food Company. Primary area of responsibility was packaging, containers, paper goods, office supplies and equipment and repair operations and maintenance.
